Corsicana Texas Manufacturing And Blending Facility

The Corsicana facility is situated on a 110 acre site in north central Texas, only 50 miles south of Dallas and 180 miles north of Houston, conveniently located to major industrial markets and ports in the Gulf Coast region and Mexico. The site's close proximity to the Gulf Coast and Mexico provides excellent access to international ports and markets. The site has two rail spurs and is serviced by the Union Pacific Railroad.

The plant is an all batch reactor complex that provides flexible and responsive service. A wide range of reactors and blenders allows CorsiTech to produce a product line that will meet the need of our end users, as well as other producers seeking to out-source their production.

Third Party Manufacturing and Blending Facilities

By entering relationships with third parties for manufacturing services, CorsiTech has secured alternative sources for products and is able to meet demands for additional capacity or efficient delivery.

Toll Manufacturing

MANUFACTURING

Equipment - Reactor Complex

  • Ten (10) reactors ranging in capacity from 2.5M to 13.0M gallons of various composition (carbon steel, stainless steel and glass lined) with pressures up to 450 psig and vacuum to <20 mm Hg, jacketed and/or coiled heating and cooling.
  • Two hot oil units (avg. 17 MM BTU/hour) for reactions up to 575° F
  • 16 MM gallons of storage; CS, SS and fiberglass, heated and/or insulated
  • Steam – 700 Hp, 25K#/hour, 125 psig
  • Nitrogen – liquid and PSA systems
  • Distillation – one wiped film evaporative distillation unit

BLENDING

Equipment - Blending Complex

  • Six (6) recirculation/agitated blending vessels (CS and SS) on load cells or weigh scales from 550 gallons to 6000 gallons.
  • Separate hydrocarbon and water based blending systems
  • Dedicated bulk storage for raw material and finished products
  • One (1) pneumatic operated drumming line
  • 200 drum capacity “hot room” for high pour point materials

In addition to the manufacturing capabilities, the site has over 2.0 MM gallons of bulk raw material and finished product storage, as well as, 80K square feet of covered warehouse space to store drummed materials. The site is supported by a fully equipped and staffed laboratory and maintenance shop.

Custom Manufacturing Capabilities

For years, CorsiTech has partnered with other organizations by providing custom manufacturing services. In some cases, we have provided capabilities the other organizations lacked. In many instances, we have been able to help another producer meet supply needs which exceeded their capacity. This can be done on short-term or long-term arrangements.
